VOCIFERIAN - Ɔ d ɔ ʀ a LP

5th full-length from this one mand band featuring Lord Genocide (from ALIENANTE DAMNATION - who's debut album was released on LP by Apocalyptic Empire Records)
The musical approach here may not be especially original, and in fact sounds far more Nordic than typically French (Mutiilation, Vlad Tepes et. al.) with its frigid, windswept atmosphere, but for what it is, not many BM acts do this sort of thing better.
Vociferian does take after the various second-wave Norwegian/Swedish bands (Burzum, Darkthrone, Setherial - the usual suspects) without being an obvious knock-off of any particular one(s). The general vibe is cold and majestic, but also hostile and rage-fueled, the latter most strongly expressed by the pissed-off, croaking rasp of LG's vocals.
