CADAVER was formed in 1988 by Anders Odden and Ole Bjerkebakke. Their first full-length, ‘Hallucinating Anxiety’ (1990), was the first Norwegian Death Metal album!

CAVADER have had a rather turbulent history as they have disbanded and reunited on several occasions throughout the years.
Between 1999-2001 the group was also briefly known as Cadaver Inc. Founding member and primary songwriter Anders Odden is the only member that has been in the band’s all line-ups.

Listenable records will reissue the much sought after ’Necrosis’ album previously released on Candlelight in 2004 and also an obscure collection of unreleased recordings from 1992 under the title of ‘Hymns of Misanthropy’ showcasing CADAVER’s raw and non typical material that pushes the boundaries of what extreme music in all its original uncompromising authenticity .

Those recordings were enhanced at Tomb studio Norway and remastered at Temple of Disharmony studio in Germany.
