HELLBASTARD - Heading For Internal Darkness 2LP (RED)

Coloured vinyl reissue of the landmark debut album from Hellbastard, originally released in 1988. The band that allegedly created the ‘crust-punk’ genre which spawned a million bands worldwide! 

The genre name "crust" was coined by Hellbastard with their demo release Ripper Crust. That demo also became the "archetype" for how crust punk/hardcore would sound like in due time. Although AMEBIX are said to have pioneered the sound of crust punk, they never coined the term or gave their style a name (it was just known as anarcho-punk back in their time).

Long out of print, but highly desirable, this release was followed by 1990’s Natural Order album, a damn good effort, but the band’s move to a slicker Thrash Metal style disconcerted those who loved their debut.
