INEPSY - No Speed Limit for Destruction Vinyl LP (RED)

The third studio album by Quebec‘s punkish speed/ heavy metal group Inepsy. Originally released in 2007, “No Speed Limit for Destruction” is now reissued on vinyl by TANK CRIMES RECORDS 

If you’ve been following Inepsy‘s early resume, you’ll definitely notice how they relinquished the loud, dirty, and aggressive punk/ thrash elements of their music on “No Speed Limit for Destruction,” opting instead for a faster, looser, and meaner rock ‘n’ roll-oriented sound.

If you’re one of the loyal ones who are looking for that Inepsy sound that’s inspired by 1980s-era punk UK 82, mixed with the old crust, d-beat rawness of Discharge, and the roughneck perkiness in the vein of G.B.H., you won’t find it in “No Speed Limit for Destruction.” But if you have a taste for a dirtier, Motörhead-like sound with bits of Tank and AC/DC rock ‘n’ roll, then this offering will definitely appeal to you.

We can think of this full-length as a metal/punk band’s homage to the old guards of the rock ‘n’ roll and heavy metal genres. It might not grab you immediately on the first listen, but give it a few more spins, and it’ll grow on you and age like a fine classic wine.
