ORANSSI PAZUZU - Muuntautuja LP (ORANGE)

Finnish psychedelic post/black metallers Oranssi Pazuzu make a welcome return with a follow up to their immense cosmic trip of an LP Mestarin kynsi. Sixth album Muuntautuja once again highlights that they're one of the most adventurous, daring, and talented groups in experimental rock and metal, with krautrock, electronic, trip-hop, and industrial influences being added to their atmospheric, tension-filled, and kinetic sound. No one quite does it like these chaps, but think Can, Amon Düül II, or Hawkwind playing Metal in the vein of Ved Buens Ende or Blut aus Nord and you're nearly there.
