TIAMAT - Sumerian Cry LP (GOLD)

Here we have the first Swedish Death Metal album, preceding the truly bitchin' Left Hand Path and Grotesque's even gnarlier Incantation. All of these are were made in Sunlight Studios with Tomas Skogsberg and feature the best guitar sound in Metal--that classic HM-2 "chainsaw" sound.

After the renaming of Treblinka to Tiamat, the debut album "Sumerian Cry" was released in 1990. The rest is history! Johan Edlund influenced the scene with Tiamat for several decades.
